Brett Baillio was licensed in 1979. He has owned and operated multiple full- service real estate brokerage companies such as Comprop, Inc. (1982) and Balco Properties (1984). Brett has been involved in the sale and development of land for investment, single/multi family, and commercial development in the San Antonio area, as well as the sale of apartment complexes, hotels, retail centers, office buildings and industrial buildings.

Brett is a past member of TAR, The San Antonio Builders Association, the Northside Chamber of Commerce, the Real Estate Council of San Antonio, the Board of Realtors Commercial Division, and San Antonio area youth soccer league. He and his wife Sue have two children.

H. Dale Kane, President of First American Commercial, is responsible for the coordination of the company’s brokerage and asset management services. His particular area of specialization is in the field of residential and multi-use land development. Dale has a thorough understanding of the needs of the builders, developers, and investors in the San Antonio area market and beyond. His wide business background includes 30 years of experience in real estate development, research and analysis, appraisal, management and brokerage.

As Chief Operating partner, he directs a listing portfolio of more than $500 million in land and income properties. A graduate of the University of Texas Permian Basin, Dale is an active member in The Real Estate Council of San Antonio and the Greater San Antonio Homebuilders Association. Dale is a general manager and/or general partner for numerous real estate investment groups and syndications. Dale and his wife, Debbie, have three children and three grandchildren.

J. Landon Kane is the fourth generation to learn about real estate from his father. Landon’s great grandfather started the business over 45 years ago, and Landon has been working with his father, Dale, since 2000. Landon specializes in Master Planned Communities, Multi Family, and Hospitality. He has experience as a developer and a broker.

Landon participated in the RECSA Leadership Development program and has volunteered for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. He and his wife Kelly have a beautiful daughter named Harper.

Ryan T. Kuhl is a 2002 graduate of Texas A&M University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geoscience.

Ryan joined First American in December 2002 and specializes in land acquisition for single-family and multi-family developments. He has also had experience with office and retail leasing. Ryan has closed land transactions for single family, multi family, and commercial use. He has been a licensed real estate agent since 2003 and was active in the New Leaders Forum for young professionals in commercial real estate.

Craig B. Scott was raised in Seguin, Texas and received his Bachelor’s degree from Texas State University in San Marcos. Craig worked with custom home builder New Home Solutions before obtaining his real estate license and joining First American Commercial.

Craig specializes in multi-use land development and is an integral part of the First American team. He is active on the San Antonio Board of Realtors and is a supporter of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo. Craig has two brothers, one of them his twin. Craig and Rachel were married in May, 2005.

Mellick T. Sykes, Jr. has been in the industry seven years, following his graduation from Rhodes College where he earned a degree in International Studies and was a four year letterman in football. Mellick earned his broker’s license in 2007 and became a partner.

He is involved in the CIAC: Bexar Met Capital Improvement Advisory Board, the Rotary Club and the Young Members Board of Directors (Rotary Club). Mellick also volunteers as a Youth Mentor with Diploma Plus. He is an avid hunter and fisherman and has a beautiful wife named Amanda.
